Arabic has a new look, and the sign-in page speaks it. Arabic is now set in El Messiri for headings and Almarai for text, across the website, the dashboard and the screen where you connect Claude or ChatGPT. The sign-in page used to stay in English, laid out right to left; it is now in Arabic when your language is Arabic. The home page headline also rotates through Arabic terms.

Manage monthly support from the Support Us tab. If you give monthly, the tab has a Monthly support section with a Manage button. It opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can change or cancel it.

Malay sign-in no longer shows Arabic. On the sign-in code step, five messages, such as "Send a new code", appeared in Arabic for readers using Malay. They are in Malay again.

Hadith Agent is now free for everyone. Every account gets the full research method, with its 80+ hadith skills, citation checking and memory, and there is no longer a daily allowance of questions. A fair-use ceiling, set far above a day of normal research, protects the service from abuse.

You can support Hadith Agent. If it helps your work, you can give once or monthly from the Support Us section of this site or the Support Us tab in your dashboard. Support is voluntary and unlocks nothing extra: every user gets the same tool.

Local Library citations open the page on shamela.ws. Citations to most books in your library used to open the page from your own computer, so they opened only there, and anyone you shared an answer with could not follow them. They now open the same page on shamela.ws, on any device. Your agent still reads every page from the library on your computer; only the address in the citation has changed.

Your research history is kept only if you turn it on. Memory & Context has a new switch at the top, Save research history. It starts off on every account, including accounts that already have research history. While it is off, nothing new is added to your research history. Turn it on and it is kept in Memory & Context, for your own reference only. What you already have stays until you delete it.

The Updates list tells you what is new. Each row now carries a title, its date and what changed, and nothing else. Changes reach you from our side, so no row asks you to download, install or mark anything as done. The list marks itself read when you open it.

Criticism of the two Sahihs is studied as ʿilal even when no critic is named. A question such as "Criticism of Sahih al-Bukhari" or "Which hadiths in the two Sahihs were criticised?" used to be answered as a defence of the two books, or as a general question. The agent now examines the criticised narrations with the ʿilal method, as it already does when you name a classical critic. A question that makes an accusation, or asks for a reply to one, still gets a defence.

"Muslim" as a person is no longer read as Sahih Muslim. A question such as "Criticism of a Muslim who abandons the prayer" used to be framed as a defence of the two Sahihs. It is now treated as an ordinary question. Questions about objections to hadiths on women that use the word "muslimah" now reach the method written for those objections.

Searches with ئ or ؤ, or with the word ابن, found nothing. A search for «عن عائشة», «المؤمنين» or «عن ابن عمر» came back empty, although these words appear on many pages of your library. Your agent may have told you a hadith or a narrator was not there when it was. The connector now matches these words however they are written, and quotations keep the spelling on the page. If an earlier answer said something could not be found, ask again.

Older connectors find these words too. Since 22 September your agent searches in the spelling your library's index uses, so a connector installed before this release finds them as well. This part comes from our server.

More ways of asking about a hadith's grade are recognised. Previously the agent treated a question as a grading question mainly when it followed a few set phrasings. Asked in other common ways, in Malay, English or Arabic, it was often read as a general question and got a lighter study. "Is this hadith authentic?", "Is this hadith weak?" and "Did the Prophet really say this?" now all get the full grading study, and each grade is attributed to the critic who gave it.

Arabic terms with a hamza, and scholarly transliteration, now match. A term written with a hamza, or transliterated with diacritics such as ḥadīth or ikhtilāṭ, could miss the method it belongs to. These now reach the same method as the plain spelling.

A classical critic's objection to a hadith in al-Bukhari or Muslim is studied as ʿilal. If you ask what al-Daraqutni or another early critic said about a hadith in the two Sahihs, the agent now studies it with the ʿilal method. Previously it could answer as though it were rebutting an attack. It still answers as a defence when the question carries an accusation.

Proposed skills now come with their name. When your agent proposed a skill at the end of an answer, it explained why but did not say what the skill was called, so you could not tell which entry in Suggested skills it meant. Now it gives the name as it appears in Skills & Protocols, then its reasons.

Projects in Memory & Context. Put topics into your own projects, such as a thesis or a class, from the folder button on each topic. A topic can sit in more than one project, and new findings on it appear there on their own. Deleting a project keeps every topic and finding, and your agent still draws on all your findings.

Each update shows its own date. The Updates window lists every change as its own row, with its date. It stays in your profile menu under Updates, and what you have read follows your account on every browser.

Arabic findings and preferences read right to left. A topic written in Arabic now lays out its card from the right, with its title, count and badges on the same side as the Arabic text. Each finding follows the language it is written in: a Malay or English finding stays left to right, even under an Arabic topic or when the dashboard is in Arabic. Preferences saved from your conversations follow the same rule.

Suggested skills show when they were proposed. Each suggestion now carries the moment your agent proposed it, counted the same way as your findings. A suggestion that has waited three days says so.

Approved suggestions stay in Suggested skills. Approving one used to move it into Custom skills, beside the skills you wrote yourself. Now it stays where it came from, rises to the top of the list, and carries a green tick that reads Approved by you when you hover it. Custom skills is for what you wrote. Suggested skills is for what your agent proposed, whether you have answered it yet or not. The count on the heading counts only the ones still waiting.

Citations are a single icon at the end of the sentence. Your agent used to write the book name and the volume and page into the prose, then link the address. In a Malay or English answer that put Arabic titles and Arabic-Indic numerals in the middle of every line. Now the sentence ends with one icon that opens the page, and a book is named only where the sentence genuinely needs it.

An old connector could keep running after you quit the app, holding a processor core at full load until the machine was restarted. On a laptop it drained the battery with nothing on screen to explain it. Updating replaces the affected version.

Searches return in a fraction of the time. The search now narrows candidates before ranking them rather than scanning everything, and returns the same passages it did before.

The search engine runs as three processes instead of one, so it stays responsive when many people are searching at the same time.

Your connector now reports its version, and your Setup page shows it. Before this there was no way to tell which version you had.

Sign-in could fail during periods of heavy traffic. The cause was a client retrying without limit; it is now bounded.
